A federal agency is suing David Chevrolet Pontiac Buick on the basis that the car dealership created a sexually hostile work environment in which two female workers were forced to quit and one male employee was fired. A civil suit filed Tuesday by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleges several actions by employees of the Wheatfield dealership since at least 2005 that violate the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1991.

That didn t stop Chevrolet from increasing the sporting factor. The anniversary model gets anti-lock brakes (they re only optional on the LT) and the FE3 sport suspension normally reserved for the Impala SS . A trunk spoiler and 18-inch chrome wheels add to the sporting image.

Chevrolet will build a special edition of its full-size Impala sedan to mark the nameplate’s 50th anniversary on the market. The new sedan will be on display in January at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The first Impala hit the market in 1958 as a package available on Bel Air sedans–and Chevrolet says the new edition will recall the same fun-to-drive spirit that’s an Impala hallmark.

Financially troubled car dealer Jim Rathmann Jr.’s Palm Bay Chevrolet has closed, following his company’s earlier filing for bankruptcy protection. Vehicles have been removed from the Chevy dealership at Interstate 95 and Palm Bay Road, and the building’s doors have been shut recently, James McMillan, assistant city manager for economic and business development, said Friday.

Browse expert reviews and compare info on the HHR at the At first glance, the HHR seems like a rather unlikely candidate to get Chevy s top performance moniker SS. As cool as it may look, the HHR is and always will be an inexpensive family wagon. Right? Well that s what we thought before we drove the new one a few days ago in Arizona. This ain t no wimpy family hauler. And the HHR SS isn t just a badge-and-sticker job like some recent SS models, either. This is a real performance package.
