The “Chevy Rocks the Future” event at Walt Disney Studios today will “celebrate promises…to preserve the environment.” The Tahoe two-mode hybrid SUV will be there, too. The Jonas Brothers, who have toured with “Hannah Montana” and appeared on the smash hit TV series, will perform and will surely mention to the audience that they have their own Tahoe Hybrid.

The event will also include an interactive “biosphere” exhibit that shows “how environmentally friendly technologies work” and will display the Equinox Fuel Cell vehicle , the E85-fueled Avalanche, the Impala with Active Fuel Management and the Chevrolet Volt prototype. Participants in the event were chosen by an online contest at Disney.com and Radio Disney.

The Disney event is a follow-up to Chevrolet’s sponsorship as Official Vehicle of the 50th Annual Grammy Awards, when the brand provided “more than 100 gas-friendly vehicles” to take stars to events. Chevy also provided environmentally friendly cars to chauffeur stars to the NAACP Image Awards on February 14 and will do likewise for the Academy Awards on February 24.
