Chevrolet has entered the world of super cars with the release of the 2009 Corvette ZR1, the fastest and most powerful car ever built by General Motors. Sub-4-second 0-to-60 mph runs and top speed of more than 200 mph are possible because of the supercharged 6.2-litre LS9 V-8 that produces at least 620 horsepower.

Supporting its phenomenal power output are race-bred 6-speed manual transmission with a dual-disc clutch, massive Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, 19′ќ front wheels and 20′ќ rear wheels, GM’s second-generation Magnetic Selective Ride Control, and stronger axles.
