20 February 2008 Chevrolet will be the exclusive automotive sponsor for the 20th anniversary celebration of Premio Lo Nuestro a la Mъsica Latina (Lo Nuestro Latin Music Awards) on February 21, 2008. Chevrolet and Univison Communications Inc. have together celebrated Latin music for over eight years. This year, Chevrolet along with Univision will showcase the all-new Chevy Malibu (2008 North American Car of the Year) by integrating the Malibu into the broadcast premier awards show.

Chevrolet will also make sure all the celebrities arrive in style in a fleet of Tahoes, Suburbans, and a Corvette. Chevy Malibu will be displayed along with the star from this past summer’s action movie hit ‘Transformers’. “Chevy is committed to bringing the music to the fans, and having Latin music fans interact with our vehicles is invaluable,” said Ed Peper, general manager, Chevrolet.
