Friday, January 25, 2008 Karl Chevrolet Offers Reward to Crate Engine Winners in 2008 by Chuck Stowe , Karl Chevrolet ANKENY, Iowa — Karl Chevrolet offers a reward to competitors, utilizing GM Performance Parts 602 and 604 Crate Engines, to win feature events.

“We have been involved with IMCA and their Northern SportMod division since its inception and have just resigned as the Title Sponsor for the division in 2008”, commented Chuck Stowe, the GM Performance Parts representative at Karl Chevrolet. “However, we want to expand our support of Crate Engine racing by broadening our involvement to reach other Crate Engine competitors through their sanctioning bodies, independent promoters, racing clubs or organizations”, adds Stowe.

In an effort to further promote the use of GM Performance Parts Crate Engines, Karl Chevrolet will award any competitor who wins a feature event with a GM Performance Parts Crate Engine purchased through Karl Chevrolet, with a Contingency Certificate valued at $100.

“Winners of the $100 certificate can come into the dealership to purchase parts, items from our Pro Shop, GM Accessories or even use it to toward the purchase price of a new vehicle”, stated Carl Moyer, avid race fan and owner of Karl Chevrolet. Recipients who can not come into the dealership may also use the certificate to purchase needed parts from our new “Karl Performance Parts” web site.
